Today at our English Language Club, we made some pancakes.

First, we measured the flour.  We needed 100g of plain flour.  Next, we added a little bit of salt.  It was time to make a well in the centre of the centre of the flour.  Then, we cracked one egg and poured it into the well.  We poured 300ml of milk into a measuring jug.

After, we melted one tablespoon of butter in a heated frying pan.  We combined the melted butter with the mixture.  We used a wooden spoon to stir the ingredients.  We gradually added the milk to the bowl, stirring all the time.

We let the mixture rest for a while – about half an hour.

Finally, we cooked our pancakes one by one.  You can put chocolate spread on top of your pancakes to taste.
