Each year, classroom draughts leagues are run off. The top 2 league winners in the class compete in the draughts final in the school hall, which took place today.
The draw was done ahead of time so the children knew who they would be competing with today. Each class assigned a referee to keep an eye that the rules were being followed! The concentration was immense as the competition progressed.
It culminated with a winner at each of Junior and Senior level.
