competition was held on Sunday February 8th in Galway Racecourse. The school entered four teams
as usual and all four gave a very creditable performance. All teams finished in and around the top
five in their respective competitions. Pride of place must go to one of our junior teams which came
in second overall. This was a fantastic achievement especially given the standard of questions asked
which was as high as I have come across in the Credit Union Quiz. This team consisted of Jimmy
Ivers, Tom Moran, Rayyan Alam and Alexander Delaney.
The other Junior team was made up of Oisín Concar, Cillian Carleton, Aaron Kelly and Aiden Doherty.
The Senior teams were: Emer Connolly, Esha Deshpande, India McAndrews and Vivienne Geaney.
Joshua Oboh, Jay McIntyre, Isabelle Moloney and Liam Clarke.
Well done to all for their commitment and their achievement.
