5th class students in Room 3 studied the Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama. Yayoi is a renowned Japanese artist known for her bold use of colour, pattern and repetition. Inspired by her unique style, students created their own clay pumpkins. This hands-on project was a fun way to connect with modern art.
They also had great fun creating their own Halloween potions by experimenting with various ingredients to create bubbling potions. We named our potions and talked about who we might cast a spell on!
