On Friday, Feb 23rd, 5 Camogie players from Mellows GAA Club came to our school to talk to all the children. We were delighted to have 3 of our former pupils back to visit, to speak about playing Camogie with Mellows. The players also told us of their recent success in becoming 2023 Connacht Junior A Champions, winning the Pat Barrett Cup .
They answered many questions about Camogie and filled us in on events that will be taking place through Liam Mellows over the next few weeks: the Club open day on March 3rd; participating in the St. Patrick’s Day Parade on March 17th; the Easter Carnival on March 31st.
