Football blitz in the Air Dome

On March 29th, the 6th class boys’ football team went to the Bekan Air Dome in Mayo to take part in the Con O’Donovan blitz, organised by St. James’ GAA Club. This local blitz is played between Scoil Chaitríona Senior and Gaelscoil Dara (Renmore), Radharc na Mara (Mervue), Merlin Woods (Doughiska) and Briarhill NS. The children were quite happy to travel to Mayo for a local blitz as they got to experience the Air Dome facility.

Con O’Donovan was there on the day to present the trophy.
